The new Camry hybrid also boosted sales with 4,406 finding owners in April.

2014 Chevrolet Impala

No all-wheel drive option in sight for 2014 Chevrolet Impala
While the 2014 Chevrolet Impala may have many charming qualities and boast a plethora of engine options, one feature it reportedly won't be offering is all-wheel drive. According to GMInsideNews.com, Chevrolet reps have said all-wheel drive is not part of the short-term or long-term plan for the new large sedan.
While the Impala will share a platform with the Cadillac XTS and Buick LaCrosse – both of which do offer AWD – apparently General Motors wants to keep the Impala front-drive-only to help differentiate it from the Buick and Cadillac. While it remains to be seen whether the lack of all-wheel drive will hurt the Impala's chances of competing with the Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger, which both offer it, Chevy's people have reportedly called all-wheel drive a "very slim piece of the full-size sedan market."

2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco made me redo my math. The new midsize sedan's highway fuel economy seemed too good. Its price versus the competition looked too low.
No matter how many times I ran the numbers, the answer was the same: The new Malibu Eco is a terrific car at a good price.
The Eco is the most fuel-efficient version of the all-new 2013 Malibu. It uses a small electric motor and battery to supplement its engine and reduce fuel consumption. It's the first of several models of the new Malibu that will go on sale this year.
Prices for the Malibu Eco start at $25,235. In addition to the electric system, the Eco has a 182-horsepower 2.4-liter engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Other engines, including a 2.5-liter base model and high-performance turbocharged 2.0-liter, will be available when the full model line arrives.
I tested a well-equipped Eco with leather seats, Pioneer audio system, eight air bags and voice-recognition. It stickered at $28,620. All prices exclude destination charges.
The Malibu Eco competes with a wide range of midsize sedans, including some hybrid and diesel models. They include the Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion and hybrid, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata and hybrid, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry and hybrid and Volkswagen Passat gasoline and diesel.
The Malibu Eco stacks up well against comparably equipped models. It gets better fuel economy than the non-hybrids, and matches or beats most of them on price and features.
It costs less than more comparably equipped hybrids and the VW diesel, which get better fuel economy.

Chevrolet Cruze station wagon unveiled ahead of Geneva.
This is the new Chevy Cruze station wagon, which will debut at next month's Geneva Motor Show and then arrive in European showrooms this summer. At 184 inches, it's longer than both the Cruze sedan and hatchback (by three and seven inches, respectively).
 Inside, there's 17.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up, and up to 52 cubic feet with the seats folded. Drivers will get to choose from a range of gasoline (1.6, 1.8, and 1.4T) and diesel (1.7 and 2.0) powertrains, and the long-roof Cruze arrives with Chevy MyLink available.
 Australians will get a Holden-badged version, but as for us? Sorry, guys. Don't expect anything in the near future. Chevrolet spokesman Michael Albano says, "No plans on bringing the wagon to US at this point. But we'll continue to evaluate market as needed."

Nissan Juke NISMO Concept. NISMO’s reach may expand, but it still will adhere to its current two-pronged strategy for road-car performance tuning: one, create showroom-ready performance versions of Nissan vehicles and, two, offer branded parts and accessories. As you’d expect, the Juke concept is an example of a turn-key NISMO model.
To create the concept, NISMO added a more aerodynamic body kit with a new front fascia and splitter, rocker extensions, fender flares, a rear valance, and a hatch spoiler. The Juke’s stance—and, ostensibly, its handling—benefits from a lowered and stiffened suspension. A red-accented white paint job and dark 19-inch wheels wrapped in low-profile tires don’t hurt the look, either. Nissan says the NISMO Juke’s turbocharged 1.6-liter four was tweaked for more power, but doesn’t elaborate on what specific changes were made. In stock form the engine makes a relatively impressive 188 hp, which we’ve found to be enough to overpower the front wheels of our long-termer, so we’re hoping that the hopped-up car features all-wheel drive.
